     SALES & SERVICE is a division of Universal Services India, Pune– India, engaged in business of Indenting, Project Management & Service Support established in this business since 2011 with rich experience in the market in, both, private and government sectors. The organization has since undergone changes in business focus aligning itself to market needs. It prides itself as being pioneers in introducing advanced technologies to the Indian market – supported by matchless and reliable after-sales-service and recently reinforced by a project management team.

Sales / services & project execution.

     The division has experienced and trained Sales, Service and Application Engineers in multiple product technologies numbering 10 personnel. They are well equipped and trained overseas for marketing installation & commissioning, breakdown maintenance, periodic maintenance, recalibration, relocation, training and part programming and time study or bench marking activities. Mobiles and Laptops with Internet and networking access with each engineer during site work and field movement, thus increasing their productivity.
     Engineers are exposed regularly to latest technologies at our overseas manufacturer’s works and regularly gathering market intelligence of equivalent equipments. USI benefits exposure thorough in-house training by reputed consultants through role play and group interactive sessions, thus leading to better team work. Both teamwork and individual performances are encouraged through team incentives and individual excellence recognition awards.
     The division has ventured into finding new markets and new customers through telemarketing and E mail shots. It makes efficient use of latest web based technology for Search Engine Operations to prioritize its website to its potential customers / net searchers.
     It has a well Structured Back office support for all field engineers including coordination of all pending activities, allocating movement of engineers, their tools, instruments, software and spares, their replenishments, service contracts and maintenance of individual machine case history records. Telephone and email support are extended to customers free of cost.
     Further we also support the customer for site preparation, erection and commissioning till prove out, handover and warranty and also providing production support, if needed.

Project Exection

     It has a fully fledged projects division adopting latest management techniques of Proposal Engineering & Project Execution It can undertake Project Management of turnkey activities, covering different scopes of local supplies and activities desired by the customer, to reduce the overall cost related to the turnkey proposal from its overseas manufacturers that it works with. Activities of turnkey execution include identification of local supplies and services asked in each project, sourcing, negotiating, scheduling, monitoring quality and risk management of delivery and cost over runs, procurement, stage & final inspection and integration of local fabrications & utility equipments. Site Offices are set up in case of projects involving large and multiple local responsibilities.

Order execution

     It offers Commercial Support in proposal stage for varied order execution terms, prevalent in the market, advising its Overseas manufacturers that we work with, Customers and our Field Persons on statutory outgoings (duties and taxes) and different commercial requirements like terms of delivery, deliverables that can be manifested, effect of currency fluctuations, bank guarantees and warrantees, stage inspections and stage payments, and risk management of penalties. It helps to interpret customer terms to supplier and supplier terms to customer.
     It has an Order Management System OMS in place, for compiling and transferring scope, delivery and terms of the customer’s order to overseas manufacturers we work with and the confirmation from them on terms, delivery, inspection and payment schedule or their amendments back to the customer. A progressive monitoring is done of the documentation needed for shipment or export clearance, and timely amendments to be issued, progress on deliveries and payments, issue and release of security deposits and bank guarantees from beginning of order to end of execution
